The mono-pitched pavilion with water tank and roof ventilators can be seen in this image. The long glazed facade on the opposing high side of the house (not visible here) is orientated east towards the dam. The longer western facade, most visible in this view, has small shuttered openings to moderate heat gain but allow good cross-ventilation.
The solar panels were installed a short time later adjacent to the tank. The building is designed to form a strong dialogue with the surrounding bush.
Client and builder on site a few weeks before completion.
