The rear walls defining the reception area were lowered and glazed at high level to allow a sense of the back of house areas such as dealing rooms to be perceived.

A discrete waiting area was created, with a lowered ceiling. Fabric wall paneling added colour and texture to this niche. The overall feel produced a restrained, understated look hinting at the refined, calm aesthetic often seen in traditional Japanese interiors.
