Built on a raised masonry plinth, the essentially square footprint has a dynamic aspect due to the tree-type cantilever structure of the roof apparent in this beachside view. The open upper level deck is backed by a series of bedrooms and is reached via an open stair from the lower level public areas.

Privacy issues of this arrangement were deemed acceptable due to the remote nature of the site and absence of any possibility of neighbouring development.
