The new lounge area features a purpose-designed bar with a contemporary look as a foil to the more traditional exterior of the house.

The floor level behind the bar was lowered and comfortable bar chairs selected to reduce the scale of the bar to the room. Venetian glass lights add a sculptural touch of colour to the American walnut feature timber used on bar edge and flooring.
